MoonGoddess Entertainment and Aura Music Events are pleased to bring you

the Official Aura Music and Arts Festival Pre-Party at the Crowbar on

Thursday, December 16th with The Malah and Papadosio plus DJ Craig

Heneveld. All three acts will be headlining the 2nd annual Aura Music and

Arts Festival set for January 14th-16th at Crescent J Ranch in St Cloud,

FL. Please join us for an incredible night of music featuring the most up

and coming acts in the live electronic scene.

* Papadosio

http://www.papadosio.com

This Ashville, NC live electronic act recently won a coveted spot on Jam

Cruise 2011; solidifying their mainstay in this ever evolving market.

Some music, because of its originality, timelessness, mass appeal, or

perhaps because it is just plain odd, will always be destined for the

hallowed halls of cult classicism. No band fits this criteria better than

Papadosio. In just 4 years Papadosio has wowed crowds from Denver to NYC,

Cleveland to Atlanta, shaking the earth at festivals and clubs alike.

* The Malah

http://www.themalah.com/

This Greenville, South Carolina-based trio has been

captivating ears with their malahdic electro grooves since December 2003.

In an over-saturated "jam" market, The Malah are making their mark with

finely-structured music that remains fluid and open to interpretation. By

mixing rich, earthy atmospheres with electrifying rhythms, the Malah explore

the meeting point of cutting-edge technology and ancient musical theory.

The band has been making a serious impression on the jam-loving scene in

the South and beyond through constant touring as well as hitting the

festival scene with a vengeance. A Malah set will take listeners on a

journey from beginning to end and their live shows are a spectacle not to

be missed.

* DJ Craig Heneveld

http://www.djcraigheneveld.com

Sliding his way into the innovative electronic artists coming out of the

South is producer and DJ, Craig Heneveld. Craig combines a diligent work

ethic in the studio with a passion for igniting the dance floor. Highlights

of his career include opening for acts such as Mark Farina, EOTO, Perpetual

Groove, BoomBox, Pnuma Trio as well as performing at Underground Sound 5,

Trinumeral 2010 and Aura 2010. He is a set break staple for the freshest

up and coming acts in the “jam-tronica” scene such as The Malah, Ep3 and

Papadosio. If there’s a national jam-tronica act coming through southern

Florida, chances are Craig will also be on the bill.

Excerpt from ‘What’s
Haunting Ybor?’ by Paul Guzzo- Sep/Oct ’09 issue of U.C. Tampa Magazine

“The largest social club in Ybor
City is also one of its most haunted buildings, as countless individuals claim
to have seen ghosts in its breathtaking theatre. Some people also report having seen a man and
woman dressed in vintage attire sitting in its front row. Others say they’ve seen an old man standing
in the rafters above the stage (near where the theatre’s caretaker once lived).

In December
2007, S.P.I.R.I.T.S.- a St. Petersburg-based ghost hunting team- visited the
theatre in hopes they’d find a ghost.
Their audio equipment picked up the sound of a Latin man answering ‘si’
when they asked if any ghosts where in the room. In addition, their video camera captured
footage of a cloud briefly floating behind the team’s members as they descended
the theatre’s stairs."

EOTO Florida Run

4x6 EOTO FB Web EOTO Florida Run

EOTO will be doing a 4 shows in Florida Jan. 2, 2010 (Tampa), Jan. 3, 2010 (Orlando), Jan. 6, 2010 (Key West) and Jan. 7 2010 (Key West) and DJ Craig Heneveld will be opening the Tampa and Orlando shows.

Visit http://www.glittergluproductions.com/Eoto_Tour_Page.html for tickets and more info.

JWhat happens when two former members of a widely successful touring band step out from behind the instruments that made them famous and embark on an entirely new musical journey? The result is the left coast breakbeat/glitch-hop/house duo, EOTO (pronounced E-oh-toe). Consisting of one third of the progressive jam sextet, The String Cheese Incident, the joint venture between Jason Hann and Michael Travis is a fresh, 100% improvised collaboration of live instrumentation and digital mixing. The duo has eagerly taken to the road to deliver a totally inimitable and unforgettable live experience.

Performing in roles completely different than the ones in SCI, Jason Hann keeps the crowds moving. Covering percussion, layering eclectic-glitchy samples, live auxiliary re-mixing, as well as the playing drum kit, Hann provides the rhythmic backbone for all things EOTO. Adding both blissful and edgy, tonal ambience is the multi-talented Michael Travis.” Blending bass, guitar, keyboards and hand percussion, as well as live mixing and re-mixing, Travis creates the spacey flavor capturing the listener’s senses. With the raw power of live drums, the music is all created on the spot, recorded, and remixed live, proving no two shows are exactly alike. While completely different from SCI, life-long fans as well as new fans will be drawn to the dance frenzy and originality that is EOTO.

In the world of EOTO, nothing is pre-recorded, nothing is pre-looped and no sets are pre-planned. Each show transports the listener to a different time and a different place providing a unique sonic dance experience night in and night out. Merging hypnotic rhythms with pounding bass and mesmerizing melodies, Hann and Travis unleash their sonic assault on the masses in an unrehearsed, unscripted manner. Drawing comparisons to renowned artists such as the Beastie Boys, EOTO is at the forefront of a musical movement. Inspired by legendary DJ’s and mix artists of the world, the duo utilizes cutting-edge technology combined with live instrumental performances to create truly original and melodic dance music in the moment.

Jason Hann and Michael Travis will continue their inspiration to evolve beats, breaks, and soundscapes designed to keep the audiences grooving all night long. Crowds looking for a mind bending, ear-opening experience unlike any other touring band on the road today will appreciate the shear spontaneity and originality that is EOTO.
